Buying or Selling Your Property?
When selling your property we are able to provide a Periodic Inspection report suitable for your sellers pack, for evidence that the wiring is up to date. Usually reports for a domestic property may be valid for up to 10 years.
For home buyers we are able to arrange a periodic inspection report. This will find out if your potential new home is safe, needs any updating to meet the latest regulations and will ensure you will not encounter any unforeseen costs, repairs or dangers in the future and may be an excellent bargaining tool!
Inspection, testing and certification
We can provide testing, inspection and certification whether you are buying or selling a property or would just like piece of mind that your installation is safe and meets the current regulations
It is recommended that periodic inspection and testing is carried out at least every:
- 10 years for a domestic installation
- 5 years for a commercial installation
- 1 year for swimming pools
- Other instances when a periodic inspection should be carried out are:
- When a property is being prepared to be let
- Prior to selling a property or when buying a previously occupied property
As well as a full thorough visual inspection the following tests are also carried out with a Megger MFT 1553 tester which is one of the latest pieces of equipment available.
